Hi Jon, lovely looking seedlings. It's a bit strange seeing a DA shape/style rose in such a hot loud colour... I like!
I see you are battling the dreaded spider mite! I've done two things to combat this little sucker (literally). They hate water so I try to water up under the leaves if I see signs of it and second, a friend gave me a branch of a Pepino bush that had predatory mites living on it. I lay this amongst the roses and soon I had predatory mites spreading through the system clearing out the two-spot mites that cause so much grief. He purchased a small vial of cultured predatory mites which he released into his pepino, which spider mite love... it acts as a seeding plant for the rest of his permaculture gardens and is very effective. Beats using chemicals!
Yes, I did have spider mites. What I did was wet some tobacco out of a cigarette down and wiped the underside of the leaves. If that doesn't work I'm going to buy the Bayer Insect control poison...I'm waiting to see though.
